Haryana Twin Sisters: First Indians To Climb The Tallest Mountains on Every Continent

With a passion that’s driven them to heights, 23 year old twin sisters – Nungashi and Tashi Malik aren’t just the only Indians to have completed the Explorer Grand Slam BUT, are also the first South Asians to have completed it. Not to mention that they also happen to be the youngest to do so.
The Grand Slam is an adventurers challenge to reach the North and the South Pole and climb the 7 summits in all the seven continents.

The Malik sisters passion had started off as a casual vacation course at the Nehru Institute of Mountaineering in Uttarkashi in 2009. But they went back again in 2010 for an advanced course and climbed Mt. Rudugaira.
