Aam Aadmi Party MLAs have alleged that they have been contacted by the BJP and asked to break away from the party and help the BJP form the government in Delhi.
Rajesh Garg, AAP MLA from Rohini, said, "We have been approached by the BJP on many occasions. They extended me an offer and I have a video of that."
Kejriwal had alleged in an interview to a TV channel that the BJP was trying to bribe eight of his party's MLAs. The former Delhi CM had said, "The BJP people are contacting our MLAs. They have contacted our eight MLAs in the last four-five days and they are trying to break them away. But they do not know the stuff AAP MLAs are made of."
There is also speculation that the BJP wants to avoid fresh polls and instead form the government with the help of independent and breakaway legislators.
Senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia said he was aware of the BJP attempts to break away its MLAs but was confident that they would not succeed.
