Secularism has a whole new meaning in our country. Aligarh Muslim University was declared a minority institution even though it eats off Central funds. Andhra Pradesh announced reservations for Muslims in education and jobs.
The country is virtually saying that Muslims are not as good as others to get into IITs and IIMs and should therefore need reservations. How can any self-respecting Muslim accept this?
First SC,ST’s ,now OBC’s and Muslims . What next??.
The Government should spend money on Muslims education in some another way. -
Reservations
The word reservation is a very diplomatic and decent way of pointing out and saying..."hey, u are not capable of doing this.... " the idea of reservation itself is insulting in my view...... ofcourse in some cases reservation may be somewhat meaningful.. but to have it in education field isnt quite sensible... even after u give education u have jobs reserverved.. so whats the use of reservation in education.... that itself points out that reservation is not practically a helpful tool...... and what about the unreserved categories.. will someday the govt decide to give them special oppurtunities too?Comment

Reservation, Affirmative Action are all hopeless. We must enforce MERITOCRACY in society for almost everything. Can a person out of 100 people needed for a job do it best? Then yes, he/she must get that job or admission. India needs a meritocratic society and not handouts. Damn the Marxists! Giving minority isn't good. They should have the equal opportunity as the other students. There should be no reserved seats or stuffs. THis will take the seats of the good students. Muslims sure have the brain to do that. THey will do it. No need for minority tag.Comment

**I think we should have job reservations in all the fields. I completely support the PM and all the politicians for promoting this. Let's start the reservation with our cricket team. We should have 10 percent reservation for muslims. 30 percent for OBC , SC /ST like that. Cricket rules should be modified accordingly. The boundary circle should be reduced for an SC/ST player. The four hit by an OBC player should be considered as a six and a six hit by a OBC player should be counted as 8 runs.
An **OBC player scoring 60 runs should be declared as a century.
**We should influence ICC and make rules so that the pace bowlers like Shoaib Akhtar should not bowl fast balls to our OBC player. Bowlers should bowl maximum speed of 80 kilometer per hour to an OBC player. Any delivery above this speed should be made illegal.
**Also we should have reservation in Olympics. In the 100 meters race, an OBC player should be given a gold medal if he runs 80 meters.
**There can be reservation in Government jobs also. Let's recruit SC/ST and OBC pilots for aircrafts which are carrying the ministers and politicians (that can really help the country.. )
**Ensure that only SC/ST and OBC doctors do the operations for the ministers and other politicians. (Another way of saving the country..)
**Let's be creative and think of ways and means to guide INDIA forward...
