BSE benchmark Sensex rises 51 points in early trade
Sensex rose over 51 points in early trade with funds extending gains for the third straight day as participants made selective buying amid a firming Asian trend.
The rupee Tuesday fell by another 30 paise to trade at 61.57 against the dollar in early trade at the Interbank Foreign Exchange market due to renewed dollar demand from importers and appreciation of the US currency overseas.
