New Delhi An Australian girl, who was shot at by an Indian man, succumbed to her injuries on Tuesday in Vrindavan near Mathura.
Twenty-six-year-old Leela was shot at by Saurav (28) on Saturday after an arguement. Saurav — the nephew of a former cabinet minister in Uttar Pradesh — later committed suicide by firing a shot from a revolver to his temple.
The family claims that Saurav was stalking Leela and that though they had complained to the police, the police had taken no action against him.
The police however, claim that it was a lover's tiff that went horribly wrong.
