SURAT: Keshav Prasad Vishwakarma, 35, paid with his life on Wednesday for trying to stop his drunk neighbours from teasing a widow. He was declared dead at the New Civil Hospital on Wednesday due to severe burns on his body.
Vishwakarma was set on fire on Monday by Rameshwar Musiri, Ramfal Yadav alias Gaya Baba and Prabhu Gaur apparently because he would not let them abuse Lilawati, who was also a neighbour. The three were named in Vishwakarma's dying statement.
