Coronavirus in India May 24, 2021: India registered over 2.40 lakh fresh cases on Sunday, with the active caseload now standing at less than 30 lakh. The country tested over 20 lakh samples for Covid-19 for sixth consecutive day. Daily recoveries continue to outnumber daily infections in India. Several states and UTS, including, Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Puducherry, have extended lockdown and ‘corona curfews’ to further control the spread of virus.
