If we look at the score chart of test Cricket of Mahi,he played 90 Tests in which he scored 4876 runs at an average of 38.09, with six hundreds and 33 fifties. He captained India in 60 of those Tests, winning a record 27 matches while losing 18 and drawing 15.

I am not sure but India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has his final chat with the media at the conclusion of the third Test in Melbourne, but gives nothing away about his shock retirement.
