Ludhiana: India beat arch-rivals Pakistan by nine points to win the Kabaddi World Cup final here on Saturday.
The hosts were just two points (23-21) ahead at half-time, but took the decisive lead as the second-half began.
India and Pakistan will jointly host the next edition of the World Cup Kabaddi to foster goodwill, brotherhood and friendship between the two nations, it was announced on Saturday.
