Kerala prof. downloads Ramayana on mobile!
P R Harikumar, a professor in a Kochi, Kerala has developed a way to download the entire Ramayana on to one’s mobile phone.
The Malayalam lecturer at Sree Sankara College, Kalady, fed into his mobile three Kandas — Balakandam, Aranyakandam and Kishkkindakandam from Ezhuthachan's Adyathamramayanam, which the Malayalam version of Ramayanana, into his mobile.
According to him, the entire Ramayana would occupy only about 800 KB of space.
“During the holy Malayalam month of Karkkidakkom, reading the Ramayana need no longer be confined to one’s home. You can even read it on your phone in the office or even while travelling,” said Harikumar.
