Yes exactly right. This is actually a mutual aspect to go into any relationship for long or forever.
I believe understanding, sometime this word goes into some other meaning at other circumstances i call it, Compromise.

Compromise is done to always solve the matter so i would say where there is compromise there is always a great Understanding.
