Winter is the season of carrots & i love to make Gajar Ka Halwa . Its one of my favorite sweet dish, which i like to cook mostly Sunday bcz Sunday i have enough time to do new experiments in cooking. I have make gajjar ka halwa in this Sunday so i would like to share this recipe with you.
Ingredients required to make gajjar ka halwa
Carrot - 1 Kg ( According to your wish)
Mike - one & half KG
Sugar according to your taste
Cashew - 10
Cardamom Powder - ½ tsp
Butter - 5 tbsp (Its depend upon your spoon size)
Almond - 7-8
Method of Preparation:
First of all take 1kg fresh carrots, wash & grate. Heat a pan with butter & desi ghee. Add grated carrot in this & cook on low flam until the carrots become soft & the raw smell disappears.
Now add boiled mike in this & cookl until the mixture get thick. Your next step is to add sugar when the mixture stars thickening & continuously stair. Cook this on low flame also add cardamom powder and nuts until the ghee separates from the mixture.
Final & last step: Garnish with nuts Gajjar ka Halwa is ready. Serve hot.
