Ashwini Bhave is a famous actress who mainly appears in Marathi films. She was born in a Maharashtrian Kokanastha Brahmin family. She was born and brought up in Chunabhatti , Mumbai. She has mainly contributed to Marathi cinema and later worked in some Hindi films.
Ashwini was first noticed on the Hindi Sci-Fi Tv serial 'Antariksh'. In 1991, when Ashwini was experiencing the peak of her stardom, she entered Bollywood with Rishi Kapoor in 'Henna' directed by Randhir Kapoor. She was seen in other movies like 'Sainik' ,'Bandhan' ,'Meera Ka Mohan', 'Honeymoon' , 'Parampara' ,'Cheetah' etc. but none of these were that successful. So she switched over Marathi films. She also was a part of a famous Marathi theatre play 'Lagnachi Bedi'. Ashwin has acted in one Kannada film as well.
