Sr. Analytical Content Manager: Responsibilities
* To take project lead role in the Analytical Services group from day one. Sr. Analytical Content Manager works with team members and coordinates with other departments through the entire project lifecycle.
* The position requires an entrepreneurial and self-starting attitude, as responsibilities range from heading internal projects that help drive company growth to acting as a primary contact for customers.
* The Sr. Analytical Content Manager is required to have a strong analytical background, as he/she will be working closely with quantitative-oriented PhDs to create and present client deliverables.
* The Sr. Analytical Content Manager should be a very detailed oriented and hands on person in handling projects and who can work closely with team members in highly productive team environment.
* Communication with C-level Retail Executives / US counterparts occurs frequently to learn about their business and share analytical findings.
Qualifications:
* Candidate must have completed an MBA program from top tier business institutes.
* Background education from top tier institutes in operations research, statistics, econometrics, mathematics, economics or a related mathematical discipline with consistently outstanding academic record.
* 3-5 years of experience out of which 1-2 years of recent experience in data mining/data analysis involving large amount of transactional databases in demand forecasting, revenue optimization preferably in retail, airlines, supply-chain domains is highly desirable.
* Excellent written and verbal communications skills as project lead are expected to create and deliver concise, logical presentations and must be able to handle client contact.
* Computer literate and proficient with relational database and spreadsheets. Knowledge of SQL and Visual Basic is desirable.
* Experience with statistical software (SAS, Splus/R or Statistica) and large quantitative datasets is a plus.
* The ability to quickly take on significant responsibility is a must for this position.
