Two years after the Main Panel of Additional Knowledge (CBSE) made Category X exams optionally available to decrease the 'board exam' stress for learners, the plan seems to have few takers in the region.
Unlike last season, when most learners from town educational institutions decided for the school-based evaluation, this season they seem to have veered back towards the board evaluation. The primary reason for this, CBSE educational institutions expose is the govt order, released last season, discipline CBSE learners, who have approved Category X school-based evaluation, from implementing for Category XI through the single screen entrance system.
So CBSE learners who want to move to state curriculum in Category XI will not have the option, unless there are chairs available, if they take the school-based evaluation.
