Dear all,
I am a Second Year Human Rights/Social Anthropology student at Roehampton University in England. Part of my course requires the carrying out of a limited research project. The aim of my project is to find out how changes in law and Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs) working together make a difference to women in India.
I am writing to ask if you could spare the time to write me any kind of experiences to do with law/NGOs in India that you might have. For example, maybe Indian NGO has sometimes helped you. Or maybe a change in Indian law made a difference in your life, or did it? Ideas of how would you change the law if you had a chance. What ever experiences/stories they are I am grateful for every single one of them!
I would assure you that any information you give me will be treated with complete confidentiality. I you are willing to help me, I would appreciate it if you confirm your sex, age and where you are from (town, country).
The final report will be for internal consumption only.
Yours sicerely, Inkeri Tuomola (Finland)
