Folding bicycles certainly come with an advantage if this involves easy carrying and storage, although their chain presents a design challenge &ndash it may&rsquot you need to be folded sideways together with the frame, there&rsquos a danger that it’ll transfer gunk to the driver&rsquos clothing because they&rsquore transporting the bike. Korean manufacturer Bygen has devised an answer, by means of its Hank Direct Bike. Rather than a series or belt drive, it’s levers that transfer energy in the pedals towards the rear wheel.
