A Mumbai sessions court on Wednesday convicted Bollywood actor Salman Khan in the 2002 hit-and-run-case.The 49-year-old actor is charged with culpable homicide and could face up to 10 years in jail. Salman has been booked under Section 304 A of the Indian Penal Code (rash and negligent driving); 279 (rash driving); 337 (causing minor injuries); 338 (causing major injuries) 427 (negligence) in connection with the case.

Salman Khan Bail Extended
Bombay High Court has suspended Salman Khan’s sentence for 5 years of imprisonment. The High Court has directed Salman’s cousel to apply for a fresh bail bond.This means Salman Khan’s interim bail has been extended. The exact nature of the court’s decision isn’t clear just yet. it is not clear whether it’s a suspension of sentence or an extension of bail.

Bombay High Court Allowed Actor Salman Khan To Travel To Dubai
Salman Khan was today allowed by the Bombay High Court to travel to Dubai for a show, but with conditions.He had requested permission to travel from May 27 to May 30. The court said he has to return his passport to investigators within eight hours of returning to Mumbai. Salman also has to give details of his flight, address in Dubai, and telephone number, and give surety of two lakh rupees. He is due to perform at the 'Indo-Arab Bollywood Awards' show on May 29.

For Hit And Run Case Salman Has Spent Over Rs 25 Crore
