It has been reported that one-fifth of the people voted today on the first crucial day of elections in which the BJP makes a bid to bag another big state and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's "Grand Alliance" attempts to thwart those plans.

Across nine districts voting was stable on Thursday morning near about 11.23% casting their vote in the first two hours of the fifth and final phase of the Bihar assembly elections This final phase is important for chief minister Nitish Kumar and his associates RJD leader Lalu Prasad and the Congress as well as the NDA in the intense fight to manage the 243-seat Bihar assembly.

Final Bihar Elections Result
The BJP-led NDA in Bihar to score a massive win two-thirds mass in the Assembly giving Chief Minister Nitish Kumar a third term in office in a fight in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi risk his all. BJP on its own got 53 seats out of 157 it contested while its allies also put up a poor show. LJP, led by Ram Vilas Paswan, and RLSP of Upendra Kushwaha got two seats each. Former Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi’s HAM won only one of the two seats he contested and lost in all the 19 others it fought in.
