Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray was on Wednesday arrested by the state police en route to Vashi where he was to flag off a protest against toll booth collections.The MNS founder was detained earlier in the day and taken to RCF police station near chembur when he came out with his party workers in protest.
Raj Thackeray is scheduled to meet the Maharashtra CM Prithviraj Chavan tommorow at 10 am to discuss the new toll policy. Chavan had invited the MNS chief for talks and had appealed to him to call off the protest. "He should not do anything that will trouble citizens. We are considering toll policy for the state," Chavan said.
