Mumbai:- Three children — two girls and a boy — were burnt to death and nine others injured when an LPG-powered van carrying them back home from school in suburban Oshiwara here caught fire on Monday. Gas leak from the LPG cylinder is suspected.
Zubair Kurdiya (4), Madiya Indani (6) and Hadika Shaikh (6) died on the spot, said Deputy Commissioner of Police V. Chaubey.
Eight others, who sustained burns, were admitted to the Cooper Hospital and some of them were later shifted to other hospitals.
