In the wake of the suicide attack on a convoy of the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) in Afghanistan on Thursday, India has decided to immediately send a team to review security arrangements and identify additional measures to protect Indians involved in the reconstruction of the war-ravaged country. An External Affairs Ministry statement here said the attack was against India’s aid and humanitarian programme but the Government would continue to work for the rehabilitation and reconstruction of the country and the well-being of the Afghan people.
