    Two Indian-origin politicians have been elected to the policy-making body of South Africa's ruling ANC.

    Former Minister of Tourism and Environmental Affairs Valli Moosa and former Political Advisor to new party President Jacob Zuma, Ebrahim Ismail Ebrahim have made it to the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the African National Congress (ANC).

    Moosa came in 16th position and Ebrahim 25th at the end of ANC's conference here. They stepped down along with another two Indian-origin Cabinet Ministers, Mac Maharaj, who was Minister of Transport, and Jay Naidoo, who was Minister of Communications.
