India and Sri Lanka are set to lock horns in the third match of the Super 4 in Asia Cup 2022 on Tuesday, September 6 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
India won both their matches in Group A, but looked out of sorts, especially in the bowling department against Pakistan on Sunday. After failing to defend 181, the Men in Blue lost by five wickets to Babar Azam and Co.
However, going into the match, India can take heart from the fact that, under Rohit, they have beaten Sri Lanka in seven out of eight matches.
Sri Lanka, on the other hand, started with an eight-wicket defeat to Mohammad Nabi’s Afghanistan, but beat Bangladesh to advance to the Super 4.
In the first match of the Super 4, Dasun Shanaka’s men beat the Afghans by four wickets in Sharjah and will be fairly high on confidence.
