Question: Where do I find Free Software Downloads?
My school firewall is now blocking students from downloading via Bit Torrent p2p software, therefore I need an alternative method.
Currently Im using Mooza.com - MP3 Search Engine for free Music Downloads. Mooza is great for music and video downloading, but doesnt provide access to free games and software. My school doesnt block us from visiting regular websites, rather only p2p software.
Im trying to find websites hosting movies and games (as opposed to p2p software) where I can download directly from the web free movies, games, etc.
Note: I dont want warez sites that will rape my browser - rather I want sites like Mooza.com that are clean and make it simple to get the free files.
Question: If I am behind my university firewall - does it matter if I use a Free HTTP Web Proxy Server or should I download special proxy software?
