I just get to know about an interesting fact which is :

There are a few places in India where pooja of the Lankan King as their hero is done Here's a look at 4 such places.

                              1. Ravan Mandir Bisrakh, Delhi NCR
                              2. Ravangram Ravana Temple, Madhya Pradesh
                              3. Dashanan Ravana Temple, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh
                              4. Kakinada Ravana Temple, Andhra Pradesh

Ravan was a great priest. He knew all the hindus holy books like vedas by words. But there is a well saying "Vinash Kale Viprit Budhi" which means when some person's end is near then his/her mind will not let him/her decide what is good or bad for him/her.

May this festival brings happiness to your life. Happy Vijaydashmi!
