    WASHINGTON: Microsoft has released diversity stats showing that it has increased the number of its women staff, but says that there's still much work to be done.CNET reports women now comprise 29% of Microsoft's worldwide workforce, up from 24% over the past year, according to new figures released by the company.Microsoft executive vice president of human resources Lisa Brummel in an email to her staff said that though progress is being made in diversifying the workforce, a lot of work needed to be done.
