  • How to prepare Palak Paneer

    Cottage cheese cooked in spinach gravy

    Ingredients
    •Spinach 900 gram
    •Paneer (cottage cheese),1/2 cm cubes 200 gram
    •Green chilli,chopped 2-3
    •Olive oil 3 tablespoon
    •Cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon
    •Garlic,chopped 8-10
    •Salt to taste
    •Lemon juice 1 tablespoon
    •Cream 4 tablespoon


    Method
    Remove stems, wash spinach thoroughly in running water. Blanch in salted boiling water for two minutes. Refresh in chilled water. Squeeze out excess water. Grind spinach into a fine paste along with green chillies. Heat olive oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds. When they begin to change colour, add garlic and sauté for half a minute. Add the spinach puree and stir. Check seasoning. Add water if required.When the gravy comes to a boil, add the paneer and mix well. Stir in lemon juice. Finally add cream.

    I love this recipe but i can't try this because i have no grinder in my pg to grind spinach & my pg owner will kill me if i use grinder in pg without paying extra charges. Whenever i would like to eat this then i go to market & buy this.
