Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi destroyed 30,000 jobs every day in 2018. His comments came during a public address in Imphal, Manipur.
Criticising the prime minister, Rahul Gandhi said PM Modi had promised to created 2 crore jobs in India but ended up destroying more than 1 crore jobs in 2018.
"PM had promised 2 crore jobs every year. In reality, statistics reveal, in 2018, Modi government has destroyed 1 crore jobs in India," the Congress president said.
"He (Modi) did not create a single job! Every single day in 2018 Mr. Modi destroyed 30,000 jobs every day," Gandhi added.
