Very sad news that RK Laxman passed away. R. K. Laxman was born in Mysore in 1921. His father was a headmaster and Laxman was the youngest of six sons; an older brother is the famous novelist R. K. Narayan. He(Laxman) is known as "Pied Piper of Delhi". Laxman continued cartooning for the Times till 2010,even after suffering a stroke in 2003 which paralysed his left side. Ill-health forced him to stop cartooning for the Times but he continued drawing till the very end.
