Love is best seen as devotion and action, not an emotion. Love is not exclusively based on how we feel. Certainly our emotions are involved, but they cannot be our only criteria for love. True devotion will always lead to action.

I agree, love is when you feel happy when the other person is happy. I want to add for it, when you cannot see someone suffering and you are ready to do anything for the happiness of the person then it is true love.
