  • Samsung Galaxy Note 5 launched in India at Rs 53,900 for 32GB version

    Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has been launched in India at a premium pricing of Rs 53,900 for the 32GB model and Rs 59,900 for the 64GB model. The Galaxy Note 5 is the fifth iteration in the popular Galaxy Note series and was announced along with Galaxy S6 edge+ in New York last month.



    The Galaxy Note 5 goes on sale in India on September 20 and will join Samsung’s other premium devices in India, the Galaxy S6, S6 edge and the newly launched S6 edge+.

    The Galaxy Note features a 5.7-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display with a pixel density of 518ppi. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Exynos 7420 processor with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM.


    On the camera front, Note 5 houses a 16MP OIS f1.9 rear camera along with a 5MP f1.9 front snapper. It comes with Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS/ A-GPS, and Micro-USB 2.0.

    The smartphone features a fingerprint scanner and will be available in Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum and Silver Titan colour variants from September 20.

      The Android 5.1 Lollipop-based Samsung Galaxy Note 5 features a 5.7-inch QHD (1440x2560 pixels) Super-Amoled display with a pixel density of 515ppi, and is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Exynos 7420 SoC with four Cortex-A57 cores clocked at 2.1GHz, and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.5GHz, apart from 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM. Samsung will also be providing 100GB of OneDrive cloud storage for free. And a one-time screen replacement.
