Actor Rahul Khanna was born on June 20, 1972, and celebrates his 40th birthday today. He is the elder son of Bollywood actor Vinod Khanna and older brother of actor Akshaye Khanna. Rahul trained at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute and the School of Visual Arts in New York City. He began his career as a video jockey (VJ) with MTV in 1994 and became popular through his four-year-stint with the channel. He debuted in Bollywood with Deepa Mehta’s 1947 Earth (1999) in the role of Hassan and also won the Filmfare Best Male Debutant Award for it.
