Income Tax Department plans stringent action against habitual tax evaders.
CBDT has issued an instruction dated 19th June 2015 directing that all Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals) should issue appellate orders within 15 days of the last hearing.

DVAT authorities with intent to process the refund claim smoothly has issued instructions to all assessing officers. Hence the return itself becomes the application for refund.
