    In Gita and Veda lot of logic and reasoning is used that is not found in other scriptures?
    =========
    This difference is due to the difference in the receiver and their need. The requirement in those countries at that time was only to preach the Pravrutti. In India the requirement was Nivrutti. The logic was well developed in India. So the reasoning and final conclusion was given here. Bible and Quran teach about the good behavour of the human beings towards other human beings. That is more stressed in Bible and Quran. First the existence of God has to be established there. But if you see the scripture like Gita, Nivrutti is mainly stressed. The metaphysics was well developed in India.
    No body knows God. No soul can know. Realization of existence of God only. Jesus’ human body was crucified. There is a difference between son of God and creation.

      Bhagad Gita is devoid of logic. It says if you read Gita you get moksha. Even if you hear Gita (without knowing the meaning), you get moksha. How can such a book called logical?

      Geeta is not a part of Mahabharata. It was composed much later to fight the spread of Budhhism. Its a bundle of many Hindu theories. It lacks common sense & logic. That is why Hindus rejected this useless bokk. Not even 0.0001% Hindus have read it. Neither they want to read it. History ensures that the dead & putrifed things are dropped out. So it happened with Gita. Out of about 100-150 crores of Hindus, how many read it? How many teach it to their children?

      A useless book needs to be thrown into a dust-bin. Majority of Hindus have understood it & they have done it. Only a few fanatics want to warm up the old curry that has been badly putrified!

        There is a similar yet heated discussion going on in Civilization And India which was started by a Christian missionary called King Tejpreet in this forum. While others left a few comments and backed out, I am still hanging on to the thread and posting replies only because the thread provides fodder for an interesting debate.

        At the end of it, it's all about accepting God or not accepting him. I have always said religions and epics are interdependent and there are a number of Gods involved each contradicting the other thanks to the diversity in faith of the people. Christianity and the Bible, Islam and the Quoran, Hinduism and the Bhagavdgita etc., they all are man tailored and made made and that is exactly why there is so much contradiction and lack of logic in most of the things they say.

        You will see how King Tejpreet, like any other Christian missionaries, tries to establish Lord Jesus over other Gods in Civilization And India. Take a look if you wish to.

        Note: Don't leave a reply in Civilization And India unless you have read the last post.
