  • Learn business Mr Prime Minister

with all due respect, i cannot help criticize the recent decision to replace the petroleum minister. The decision came all of a sudden and the explanation cited for it seemed vague enough. Why was a performing minister demoted? Was it under some kind of pressure, external or internal? These and so many questions come up instantly to any sane mind. First, this ministry is different from certain other ministries in that it is directly related to global trade. Mr. Ayyar had just initiated or was in the process of initiating some of the best oil deals for India. His replacement means Mr Deora has got double the work up his sleeves. First he needs to take up Mr Ayyar's vision, then continue with it and then negotiate the deals. Definitely Mr Ayyar had some plan in his mind, which has surely been upset by the reshuffle. Mr Deora needs to get to good terms with all the OIL majors and the nations where the deals had been planned. This is simple business, Sir, where rapports count.. where comfort level counts... lets hope Mr Deora does a better job and India progresses... after all there's nothing personal......
