    Apple Inc has rejected allegations from Russia's state competition which is involved in fixing prices for iPhones and merchants set their own prices.

    Apple reacted after a day Russia's Federal Anti-Monopoly Service said that a case is opened into the allegations after a consumer had pointed out that identical prices had been set for iPhone 6s ,iPhone 6s Plus models, which come into site in Russia October 2015, at 16 major merchants.

    Apple in emailed comments said that it did not obligate Russian merchants to fix prices for its products. FAS said that it was looking into the idea that Russian merchants are obliged by the apple somehow to treat its recommended product prices as mandatory. They said that it is introduced by an investigation that identical prices are set by the merchants and kept them at that level for a certain period of time including for other models.
