  • Matt Says Google Does Not Like Content Stitching

In recent video, today Matt Cutts explained that Google does not like the idea of stitching contents, content stitching basically is to copy the snippets of contents from various sources and re-present it as once piece of content posted on your own website. http://goo.gl/FLE5tW

Matt Cutts basically said it is not a good technique that will lead to rankings in Google. Matt actually said that Yahoo “hated this technique” and considered that “spam.”

Content stitching is taking bits of information from various resources and compiling it together. This can be viewed as copying by some and research by others. True, it might sometimes be beneficial for the reader as well, to be provided with the information that is to the point and relevant. But on the other hand it might seem like cheating to the actual creators of that information.
