  • India on the move to curb corruption???

    Hi all,
The recent move by both the houses of the Parliament to expel MPs for taking cash to ask questions. What was remarkable was the way both the houses responded in a prompt manner. The other aspect was Mr Somnath Chatterjee's bold declaration that the court wont come to help the expelled MPs.
For the first time probably such a prompt action has been moved by the bureaucracy. Just hope that this trend continues. seems India is on the move to curb corruption.................

To expel MPs for taking cash to ask questions is correct

We must set some eligibility criteria for any person to be MP

[1] MP should not be of more than 75 yrs

[2] MP must be Educated, he must be minimum graduate.

[3] MP must not have any criminal record.

[4] MP age must be more than 27.

[5] MP should be morally correct as per Indian values.

[6] MP is like king so if any person wants to be MP then he/she should not have his personal life, other wise they should leave their post of MP.

[7] Phone taping of any MP should not be done, this should only be done by IB/CBI and if they do that, than it should not be public unless and until IB/CBI don't get certain evidence against MP wrong act.

[8] MP should not hurt the sentiment of any community by their lecture in public if they do they must be expelled from parliament, court must not come into this picture.

[9] MP those who don't believe in Indian Culture than they should not be MP.

[10] All New MP should be given compulsory training for 2 month to know the constitution of India; Most of them don’t know that also.

[11] MP should understand that on any issue in parliament they should allow other MP to say their opinion, they must not shout in between. If they think anything wrong is been said to their leader then they can say about this when they get chance to say in parliament. Just to shout and doing walk out from parliament is not solution of any issue, it is wastage of public money.

[12] MP are been selected for 5 years from their constituency they must visit their constituency in every 5-6 month whatever may be the case they must submit the half yearly report of their work, what is going on in their constituency and what they are doing. It is not a matter of their party it is matter of nation, this report should be public.

[13] MP should not stand in election from different different party. (e.g. some MP change their party in every election, if they are not stick to one ideology then why they join that party .. it is better be in one party and if they change party than they must be MP after 5 year from another party not at very next year.)

[14] If any case of corruption or any other case against any MP is pending or arises, then first of all on moral basis he/she must give his/her resignation and he/she should not be allowed to stand in election unless and until they are free from all charges.

[15] Those MP those who are not physically fit and most of time they are in hospital they must resign from their post and allow other to take responsibility.

[16] Before becoming MP all MP must show how much property they have and after 5 year before standing on another election they must say regarding their property in Public again.

[17] MP should understand India is a secular nation, so they must not say in public regarding any community that community is good, if they do then they should not be MP. They must say what they did for people of nation and what they are going to do and they have to justify how it will be good for people of our country.

[18] MP should not be be owner of any illegal constructed building.

If you think something more should be their than please add into it...

Yea i know It is dream but most of politian will like to set such eligibility criteria ... you can better ask them for setting such standard on TV interview they all will say we should set such standard for polititian....
They all say there must be reservation for women in parliament ..... but i dont think they ever tried for that ......Just to say something and not to do that thing... is habit of indian politian...

Do you think that India will be successful in curbing all these corruptions? And how long would it take to eradicate corruption from India.

It will take hundreds of years to get out off the corruption.
As earlier mentioned, we have to stand together against corruption. Donot give bribe to higher people and never take bribe from others whether they are needed person or any criminal who want to get rid of his crime.

It will take many years to eradicate corruption from India ...Because of high population and welath is not properly distributed among the people of india properly... those who had power they are miss using it.... so for india to be like usa cannada or uk will take many years.
