The Poco M5 has been officially launched in India and other global markets. The successor of the popular Poco M4 series comes with some upgrades, but it only supports 4G connectivity.
The Poco M5 may get a 5G version later, but we are yet to get clarity on that. Otherwise, the smartphone comes with a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC and up to 6GB of RAM. There's also support for Turbo RAM that extends the RAM capacity by 2GB by utilising idle storage. However, it is only available on the 128GB storage option.
Poco M5 price in India
The Poco M5's price in India starts at Rs 12,499 for the base 4GB RAM and 64GB storage option. The 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model costs Rs 14,499. Both variants have three colour options - Poco Yellow, Icy Blue, and Power Black.
Its sale in India will begin on September 13 on Flipkart during the Big Billion Days. Poco says that it is offering early sale offers for a limited period. During this period, customers can purchase the Poco phone for a starting price of Rs 10,999 going up to Rs 12,999.
To give a perspective, the Dimensity 700-powered Poco M4 5G costs Rs 12,999 and Rs 14,999 for the 4GB RAM and 6GB models, respectively.
