                Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro

Xiaomi's Mi 10 Pro leaked specifications reveal 108-megapixel quad-camera system, powerful Snapdragon 865 and super-fast wireless charging system.
Xiaomi is yet to launch a phone in 2020 but the first one to come out of its factories in China is expected to be the Mi 10 series- its flagship smartphone series. This year, Xiaomi is going for a dual model strategy by launching a Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro. The Pro variant is expected to get all the bells and whistles that Xiaomi can offer and a couple of leaks have already suggested what to expect from the Mi 10 Pro once it launches in a couple of weeks.

The Mi 10 has been spotted on AnTuTu and some pictures of the phone's rear panel have also been released. AnTuTu benchmarks don't reveal specifications of the device but the score gives us a fair idea of the performance improvement you can expect over the Snapdragon 855 series powered smartphones. The Mi 10 Pro prototype device has clocked a score of 560217, beating the host of Snapdragon 855 Plus powered smartphones from a few months ago.

The leak also shows a blurred out photo of the rear highlight the quad cameras. Popular tipster Ben Geskin has created high resolution renders of the Mi 10 Pro based on the image and it seems to look quite similar to Samsung's Galaxy series phones. The rear of the device has a vertically stacked quad-camera system on one side, ditching any sort of camera hump or false camera hump design like the Redmi K30. The gradient seems quite similar to the one on the current Mi 9 series.

At the front, the Mi 10 Pro has a big narrow bezel display with a big cutout for the dual selfie cameras- no pop-up cameras like the Mi 9T Pro. The display also seems to be curved on either side.
Geskin has also compiled all the rumored specifications of the Mi 10 Pro and it looks quite interesting on paper. The Mi 10 Pro, as usual, is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset and that will bring support for 5G connectivity with its X55 5G modem. The Pro variant will come with 12GB RAM and comes with up to 512GB storage. A 4500mAh battery with support 66W fast wired charging and 40W wireless charging will be present.

The display will measure 6.5-inches and it will use an OLED panel with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The front cameras are still unknown but the rear camera will comprise a 108-megapixel main camera along with a 48-megapixel secondary camera, another 12-megapixel camera, and an 8-megapixel camera.

These are still speculations but given that the Mi 10 is expected to come out son, the final specifications may not be much different than the ones listed here.

                  Samsung Galaxy S20

Samsung's Galaxy S20 and S20+ are expected to launch on 11 February. Formerly known as the Galaxy S11, it now looks like Samsung is changing the name, with three devices expected in the Galaxy S20 family. some model numbers: SM-G980, SM-G985/6, SM-G988 are expected to be the model numbers for these devices - and the codename is thought to be Hubble, like the telescope, for the S20 Ultra.

Samsung Galaxy S20 devices will run on either the latest Exynos chipset, the Exynos 990, or the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, depending on the region. We expect a healthy dose of RAM - which could be as much as 12GB across all devices, although we'd previously heard that the S20 would start at 6GB RAM. Rumours suggest that the S20 Ultra will get a 16GB option. A battery that supports both wireless charging and reverse wireless charging, and it's said that the S20 will get a 4000mAh battery, the S20+ gets 4500mAh while the S20 Ultra is reported to have a 5000mAh battery. There will be a 25W charger to fast charge the phones. A camera which allows 10x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom, again destined for the S20 Ultra, although there's some debate over this figure, and it might actually be 5x optical - although it seems Samsung is going to be writing 100x on the back of the phone. It's said that the "hybrid zoom" figure is being given as 30x.

As to 5G, we're expecting 5G versions of all devices.
