There are some chemicals from the plastic bags which can disrupt the normal functioning of hormones in the body. Once the marine animals consume these chemicals, they move through the food web then later into the humans who consume fish together with other marine animals. The chemical materials bio-accumulates in the sea animals and fish system as they are exposed to them in the ocean waters. When humans prepare them they consume all these chemicals affecting their healths. They could develop cancers or other serious conditions.

    STAY AWAY FROM PLASTIC
This information is really helpful to me........we all have to understand the basic responsibility towards nature.

A clean environment is essential for human health and well-being. The best-known health impacts are related to ambient air pollution, poor water quality and insufficient sanitation.

Impressive step taken by the parliament. When the government takes initaitive it is obviously followed by the people. Now, one more step needs to be taken is all about to stop corruption.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been at the vanguard of a campaign against single-use plastic, using his Independence Day speech from the ramparts of the Red Fort to eliminate the use of these polluting items by 2022. Disposable plastics are the least biodegradable and with the lowest possibility of being reconverted.

The annual supply of more than 600,000 bottles suddenly came to a halt following a circular issued on August 19 on “total prohibition of the use of plastic bottles and other plastic items within Parliament House complex”. Glasses of water have replaced bottles in all meetings and more officials have started bringing water bottles from home. We have to stop using plastic.
