Railways has launched a web portal to monitor schemes, in an effort to improve transparency and accountability. The portal, which is available at www.railwayschemes.in, will allow passengers to access information on various schemes, including the benefits they offer and how to claim them. The portal was developed in collaboration with the National e-Governance Division of the Ministry of Railways.
