The above quote best describes the prevailing situation of Covid-19 pandemic. The first wave had shaken everyone but the second wave had disturbed the whole nation. Many lives were lost and there became dearth of hospitals but due to the efforts of the doctors and volunteers, the nation could revive to some extent.
The doctors had been working rigorously at the forefront around the clock. The introduction of vaccination has been the big initiative to pacify the worsened situation. We are proud of our nation and look forward toachieve many more milestones.
NIRC of ICAI has also been actively involved at the forefront in many social initiatives like vaccination camp in the previous months.
It is a matter of pride that NIRC of ICAI had celebrated the ‘Chartered Accountants Day’ on 1st July, 2021 in full swing. On the same day, many events took place successfully which included Flag Hosting, Blood Donation Drive, Tree Plantation, Faculty Felicitation and Student Award Presentation.
Flag Hosting
On the auspicious occasion of ‘Chartered Accountants Day’, we hosted our National Flag at the premises and it was felt as a moment of pride.
Blood Donation Drive
The blood donation drive had been successfully conducted for everyone at ICAI Bhawan, Vishwas Nagar. There were large number of people who had actively participated in this noble cause.
Tree Plantation
It is good to keep our environment clean and pollution free. In this regard, we took initiative for tree plantation to achieve the objective of ‘Clean Delhi Green Delhi’. We pledge to plant 1,00,000 trees in the Delhi NCR region.
Faculty Felicitation and Student Award Presentation
Based on the performance of the students, we organized an event to felicitate our dedicated faculties for their immense efforts and awarded students for their hardwork & commendable performance.
NIRC of ICAI has always been at forefront to keep organizing the events and keep its members and students motivated.
Group for Networking & Merger of CA Firms Constituted
The main idea behind the constitution of the group for networking and merger of CA firms is to promote networking among CA firms and move forward to make Indian MNC CA firms.

Northern India Regional Members of ICAI has always been an active in taking care of online classes, webinars and giving full support in day to day activities. The members of NIRC of ICAI work as a team which brings best results with timeliness. The members of NIRC of ICAI are self-motivated with a clear vision and am sure that they will go a long way.

Success comes but is not ever lasting and failure does not resort to end of life. The blend of success and failure keeps one humble and a constant learner. The success is achieved only through rigorous efforts and failure can act as an experience with a lesson to be learnt from.
NIRC of ICAI has always taken up every task courageously and given best of their efforts. Being as a Chairman of NIRC of ICAI, I feel proud to lead such a resourceful and never to die attitude members.
Despite of the challenges that Covid-19 pandemic has caused, the members have given full support throughout.
I really appreciate the efforts, positive attitude and dedication amongst the team NIRC of ICAI irrespective any contingencies.
Lastly, I would say that I feel delighted and have full trust that our team would go a long way with our flags held up high.
