    There is an alarming rise in the prevalence of diabetes in India. Thanks to our eating habits and sedentary lifestyle, even gestational diabetes is not uncommon. So here are some home remedies for those who are suffering from of diabetes

    1. Nobody likes bitter things. But isn't it better to take a fruit or a vegetable instead of medicines? Having bitter gourd juice on an empty stomach has proved to prevent diabetes.

    2. Soak a few seeds (1/4 tsps) of methi in water overnight. First thing after you brush your teeth in the morning, gulp down the methi along with the water.

    3. Jambul fruit is considered as an effective medicine for diabetes considering its effect on pancreas. The seeds too can be dried, powdered and had with water twice a day.

    4. Gooseberry/amla juice too cuts the blood sugar levels.

    5. If you can't do without sugar in your coffee or tea, try and substitute honey.

    6. Among other benefits, green tea is also helpful in reducing the blood sugar and insulin levels in the body

    I like all these home remedies for diabeties.If u want to avoid Diabetese,You can try:
    The delicate and tender mango leaves can be used to treat diabetes by regulating insulin levels in the blood. They can also help improve blood lipid profiles.Eat one-half teaspoon of powdered mango leaves two times daily.

      All above remedies are helpful in reducing the diabetes or blood sugar level for sure. ANother item is cinnamon. It is easily available in India. Even 1 hour of exercise may not be enough for few patients. SO measure it regularly. BE HEALTHY, KEEP HEALTHY

        Exercise and diet certainly helps, but there's no harm in trying natural remedies to control the condition if not entirely eliminate it.

          Yes exercise is the best medicine but remedies works a lot as some people do not get much time for workout.

              Very useful home remedies. Diabetes can surely get controlled with healthy lifestyle & suggested medicines by doctor. Considering rising ratio for diabetes everyone must take a step towards diabetes prevention
