India is reeling under its most serious human health crisis in decades in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic. The pandemic has not just claimed lives but it has also dented the economy.
In times of crisis, the industry, which is a responsible stakeholder in the society has always been at the forefront in terms of supporting the society. Today, this support is more critical than ever before and will be instrumental in ensuring that the health and safety of our employees, their families and ultimately the community is preserved. Only this can help our society, the country and the economy to restore to normalcy.
Since the onset of the pandemic, CII has been working closely with central and state government including local bodies to minimize the impact of the pandemic on the industry. As the second wave is unleashing its fury on the state, CII is undertaking a Project, whereby it plans to facilitate ‘On-Priority Vaccination’ Programme for its Members’ employees based in various locations.
We are writing to invite you to be part of this valuable Programme to inoculate your employees, their family members and we also encourage members to extend the same to community as well. The indicative price per dose would be the same as applicable for private hospitals plus GST and healthcare provider administering charges.
We would like to understand from you the number of employees that you wish to inoculate under this Programme and also preferred locations for the same in various states in the country.
