Session with Hon'ble Prime Minister - Journey Towards Viksit Bharat: A Post Union Budget 2024-25 Conference : 30 July 2024 : Virtual Platform

India is set on a stable growth path, within a global environment of uncertainties. The economic progress of the recent past has been achieved despite the disruptions of the pandemic and geopolitical developments, positioning India uniquely.

Looking ahead, the country has a vision of becoming a developed economy by 2047. Industry stands ready to supplement its effort by undertaking actions to strengthen domestic competitiveness and inclusivity across multiple parameters and engaging overseas for developing international competitiveness.

A comprehensive and macroeconomically prudent Union Budget 2024-25 has been presented to catalyze this vision and build the platform for next-generation reforms.

To evolve a forward-looking perspective for Indian industry’s participation in this vision for the next decade, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is organising a Journey Towards Viksit Bharat: A Post Union Budget 2024-25 Conference on 30 July 2024 from 1200 hrs at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. The Conference would capture the key reform measures for the next few years, including through the Union Budget, and collectively chart a path for Viksit Bharat.

The Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, has given his kind consent to grace and address this occasion as the Chief Guest at the Inaugural Session scheduled from 1200 hrs.
