Big B to play a chess player in Vidhu Vinod Chopra's next

Actor Amitabh Bachchan, who has an interesting platter of projects this year, including the upcoming Bhoothnath Returns, R.Balki’s untitled directorial venture with Dhanush and Shoojit Sircar’s Piku, will now be playing a paralysed chess grandmaster in Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s untitled production venture, to be helmed by Bejoy Nambiar. The film has Farhan Akhtar as Big B’s co-star, while the female lead is yet to be finalised. The project is scheduled to take off in September, after Akhtar wraps up sister Zoya Akhtar’s directorial venture, Dil Dhadakne Do. When contacted for a confirmation, Nambiar did not wish to comment on the news.

The Shahenshah of Bollywood, Big B who is currently busy with his long-running show, ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ has simultaneously begun preparations for Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s upcoming production venture which will be directed by Bejoy Nambiar of Shaitan fame.
