Air India is looking to fill 1,000 managerial positions over the next two years, but the airline's top management has been denied recruitment drives by the company's chairman. The chairman, Ashwani Lohani, has denied that there is a recruitment crisis at the airline and said that there are plenty of talented people available to fill the managerial positions. Air India has been struggling financially and is currently in debt of $11.5 billion.
