Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley today presented Delhi's budget in Parliament as the city assembly has been kept under suspended animation and the President Rule is in force.

He announced per unit power subsidy of Rs 0.80-1.20 for those consumers whose monthly consumption does not exceed 400 units.The government has proposed per unit power subsidy of Rs 1.20 and Rs 0.80 for consumption of electricity between 0 to 200 units and between 200 and 400 units respectively.The DERC also announced the creation of a new slab of 801 to 1200 units.As per the new tariff, the rate for consumption of electricity between 0 to 200 units will be Rs 4 a hike of 10 paisa.

1. No new taxes proposed in Delhi budget

2. Govt provides Rs 260 crore for power subsidy in Delhi

3. Multi-speciality hospital to be opened in Rohini

4. 50 dialysis centres will be opened

5. Community toilets to be set up in JJ clusters

6. More night centres will be opened in Delhi

7. Four new sewerage treatment plants will be set up
